Simona WEINGLASS is an investigative reporter at the Times of Israel. She has to be credited to expose the binary options fraud industry since 2016. Thanks to her reports the world became aware of the fraudulent nature of this industry. Her series of articles ultimately led Israel’s Knesset in October 2017 to pass a law banning the widely fraudulent, multibillion-dollar Israel-based industry.

For her reports Simona was awarded an honorable mention in the international Trace Prize for Investigative Reporting competition. She received the accolade, accompanied by a monetary prize
